Actually, the main ingredients are two, condensed milk and desiccated coconut. Condensed milk, as you know is cow milk that has been thickened by evaporation and sweetened. Desiccated coconut, on the other hand, is finely ground dried coconut. There’s sweetened and unsweetened desiccated coconut. The latter is what we prefer for today’s recipe so that it will blend well with the condensed milk which is already sweet. The third which is roasted groundnuts is optional. I love the crunch that it gives this snack, that’s why I use it. Feel free to skip it if you want. That said, these memorable snacks are prepared using three simple steps, mix, mould and chill. Just like that, you’ll not only have the most amazing dessert in less than an hour and everyone will love it.

Ingredients

Unsweetened Desiccated Coconut Condensed Milk Groundnut

How To Prepare

Pour the desiccated coconut into a large bowl. Make sure you save some desiccated coconut for coating your creation later. Add the groundnut and the condensed milk to the bowl of desiccated coconut. Mix the ingredients until they are well combined. Scoop tennis ball-sized mixture and roll them into balls. Coat the condensed milk coconut ball with the remaining desiccated coconut. Place them on already prepared baking sheets then freeze until they are firm. Serve and enjoy your delicious creations. Store them in an airtight container. They should last for at least two weeks if refrigerated. But they are so tasty that they only last three days in my house. Featured Image Source: Vargasavour Recipes
