Before joining the USTDA in 2004. She practised law at the Boston office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris and Popeo, P.C. She also represented public and private firms in financial transactions, corporate governances, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings. Aside from earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, she also obtained a Master of Arts in Communication degree from the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania. A member of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar, and she equally boasts of a Master of Arts in History, with Honors, from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
