“I have the distinct honour of presenting to you, my friend and running mate, and God willing, the next Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, who has been described as ‘one of Nigeria’s youngest and brightest personalities’ who has distinguished himself in various areas of human endeavours.”

Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed served as a member of the House of Representatives from 2003-2007. He would run for Senate under the platform of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in 2011 and win. However, his victory was short-lived after the election petition tribunal issued a verdict against his victory.

  • I do like the manner in which you have presented this particular concern and it really does present us a lot of fodder for consideration. On the other hand, because of what I have personally seen, I simply wish when the reviews stack on that people stay on point and don’t start on a tirade associated with some other news du jour. All the same, thank you for this fantastic point and even though I do not necessarily agree with the idea in totality, I value your viewpoint.
