News reaching us is that rapper Olamide has parted ways with his manager, Tony Nwakolor. Tony Nwakolor was in the news recently after D’banj signed him on to be his manager. This seems to be his undoing, as the CEO of YBNL claims to be unsatisfied with his work since the signing, and suspects that he may be paying more attention to the G.O.O.D Music artiste. A source close to the rapper says that he (Olamide) became unsatisfied with Nwakalor’s level of commitment to his career.
“Olamide seemed to have lost confidence in Tony because since working with D’banj, Tony seemed to be more committed to D’banj than him and it doesn’t work like that,” said the source.
He is now managed by a woman who simply gives her name as ‘Rachel’. She also confirmed the story, but refused to shed more light on the matter. We hope that this change turns out for the better.
