  Nigerian striker, Emmanuel Dennis, has completed a loan move to German Bundesliga side, FC Cologne, from Club Brugge of Belgium. The Nigerian is set to spend the rest of the 2020/2021 season away from Belgium after agreeing to terms with his new German employers.

Dennis’ switch was confirmed in an official statement by Horst Heldt, the Managing Director of FC Cologne, on the club’s website.
‘Emmanuel is a quick player, who can play through the middle as a striker as well as on the wings. His finishing ability last season saw him gain the interest of many top clubs. The Nigeria international is happy to join the club and is looking forward to a successful spell in Germany.’ Horst Heldt
Emmanuel Dennis, 23, expressed his joy at joining the German side and revealed that he wants to play and score goals.
‘The last six months were not easy for me. I want to play and score goals, and therefore I wanted to make a move in the current transfer window. I am pleased that I’m now at FC Cologne. I know what the sporting situation here – therefore I want to play my part in keeping us in the league, by playing and scoring in a top league.’ Emmanuel Dennis
The Nigerian striker who is likely to be part of Cologne’s training session and wear the number 43 shirt, joined Club Brugge in 2017 from Ukrainian league side, Zorya Luhansk.
