The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has invited Dr. Mike Adenuga, Globacom Chairman, to be the special guest of honour at the World Cup qualifying match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Flames of Malawi. The match will be played on Saturday, September 7, at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar. The NFF stated that the invitation of Dr. Adenuga as a special guest is borne out of his contribution to the development of soccer in Nigeria. The invitation letter to the Globacom Chairman reads, “We acknowledge with deep sense of responsibility your commitment towards supporting programmes of the Nigeria Football Federation. The renewed partnership between the Globacom Unlimited and the League Management Company is a clear example of your love for the game. “In view of the above, we wish to graciously invite you as our Special Guest of Honour to the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Malawi on Saturday 7th at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Cross River State.”
