  Ahead of Nigeria’s 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifiers fixture against the Black Queens of Ghana, Coach Randy Waldrum has invited 23 players to camp. The Super Falcons are expected to hit camp on Sunday, October 17th for the match scheduled to hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Wednesday, October 20.

It will be recalled that nine-time champions Nigeria clashed with Ghana in the final of the inaugural edition of the Women’s Cup of Nations in 1998 and triumphed 2-0. Both sides have been drawn to play against each other in a two-legged encounter that will see one side come out top and grab a slot in the continental event slated to hold in Morocco, 2022. Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala who plies her trade with FC Barcelona Femini is expected to lead the team alongside other key players such as Onome Ebi, Desire Oparanozie, Osinachi Ohale, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Francisca Ordega, and others. The second leg encounter will hold in Accra on October 24.
