Hey! Have you been dreaming of being a software developer and you’ve not had the financial wherewithal to proceed or you’re not even sure on how to begin. Then this is for you.
The Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Development in conjunction with Andela and Audux solutions have rolled out a free 11-week program to introduce young Nigerians resident in Lagos to the basic/practical concepts of software development with the purpose of helping them develop a career in the ICT industry.
The Deadline for application is 6th of June and the program will run from June until August. Interested individuals should apply by clicking here. For you to eligible you have to up to 18years of age and a resident of Lagos with a LASRRA identification number.
The program offers a Certificate of Participation endorsed by the Lagos State Ministry of Employment and Wealth Creation, an opportunity to be admitted to the prestigious and exclusive Andela Fellowship, an opportunity to participate in a job fair with Lagos’ top technology companies, a free seminar on how to build your own software consulting business and a surprise gift for those who complete the program.
