Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, Ikeja Disco, has announced that it has commenced the installation of over 6,000 pre-paid meters within the zone.
Speaking to News Agency of Nigeria, Pekun Adeyanju, Assistant General Manager, Public Affairs of Ikeja Disco, said the pre-paid meters were for those who paid for them in the last three years.
“Once we finish installing the meters to this category of consumers, we will roll out the modalities for new pre-paid meters in the zone,’’ he said.
Residents under the Ikeja Disco said that pre-paid meters would reduce the burden of estimated bills handed to them by Ikeja Disco.
