There are many times that people would not buy into a product or service until they buy into the lifestyle of the marketer. That is why influencer marketing works very well. The marketers who are known as influencers are able to sell their lifestyles to a wider audience and in so doing, sell the products that sponsor their post. It is important to market yourself as, first, a brand ambassador to your products before anything else. What this means is that as a brand ambassador, you should first do things with the interest of your product or service at heart before yourself. That is to say that a customer might step on a nerve but as a brand ambassador, it is whatever the brand demands that you would do. This might mean forgoing your rights to some extent. In the same vein, as a marketer of yourself for your brand, you must have the firm understanding that your opinion does not always have to count. This means that, to a large extent, you should leave the unnecessary personal uploads for others who do not have a brand image to protect. What you say as a brand ambassador might make or break all you have been building. It is better safe than sorry.

Fundamentally, you cannot do it alone. You would need the help of experts. This includes a social media manager and photographers according to your budget, to help lighten the burden and give you more flex hours to think and process ideas that will make the brand better. These experts understand the algorithm and how it works and they can be of immense help to you. Also, to market yourself for a brand or a job or anything you desire, you must first believe that the effort is worth it or you would be investing time, energy, and resources in a cause that is not dear to you, and after a couple of months or year, you would lose the fire, realizing that so much has gone by. The point of branding yourself before moving ahead to market any product or service is to give you a good grasp of what you are about to meet and how you can best position yourself to provide the best product or service. Finally, we live in an easily distractible world, when people see that the brand ambassador of a product is not focused and is dishing out more drama than the product, they would leave the product and focus on the drama.
