Bread is one of the breakfast options for work or school days. While a lot of bakeries offer varieties of this food to the busy, it’s equally important to learn how to make this food at home. Therefore, our focus on today’s Tip of the Day segment is how to make buns bread which is also known as a bread roll. These small rolls are a tasty piece of heaven. The best part is that you can make them at home with or without an oven. Today, I’ll be showing you how to make this wonderful dinner rolls without an oven. So, if you are willing to go on this drive with me, fasten your seat belt, let’s go.

Ingredients for Buns Bread

4 cups of flour 1/4 cup of sugar 4 tablespoons of melted butter 1 tablespoon of yeast 3 eggs 1 cup of milk 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil 1 teaspoon of salt

How to Prepare

Measure out the ingredients. Sift the flour into a clean, sizeable bowl. Add the salt and the sugar. Mix these dry ingredients together. Pour the warm milk into a small bowl. Add the yeast to it and mix thoroughly. Allow the mixture to proof for at least 5 minutes. Add the melted butter to the yeast and milk mix. Break two eggs into a clean soup bowl. Beat it and add it to the wet ingredients. Whisk them thoroughly. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients then add the wet ingredients in the well made therein. Mix till you have a soft and sticky dough. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead till it turns to a smooth, soft, elastic ball. Rub some vegetable oil on the surface of the dough and transfer it to a well-oiled bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean towel or plastic wrap. Leave the dough to rise for an hour or at least, until it doubles its size. When the allotted time has elapsed, punch the dough lightly to deflate excess air. Take it out of the bowl and place it on a lightly floured work surface. Make the dough to assume a long rectangular shape. Use a knife to divide the dough into small, equal parts. Afterwards, roll each piece into a smooth, round, dough ball. Get a clean, baking pan, stainless bowl or aluminium pan. Grease the pan lightly with vegetable oil or butter. Line the pan with parchment paper. Gently arrange the dough balls in the greased pan or bowl. Now, cover the pan containing the dough balls for an additional 30 minutes. While the bread rolls are rising, get a big pot. Add a generous quantity of salt to the bottom of the pot so that it will absorb excess heat. Now drop a stand or stove-top to the bottom of the pot, then place your baking pan on it. Cover pot and preheat. Make an egg wash by whisking one egg and one tablespoon of milk together. When the allotted time has elapsed, uncover the bread rolls and brush their surface with the egg wash. Bake immediately for about 30 to 45 minutes. When your golden brown reward is ready, you may choose to brush the bread rolls with melted butter as e dey hot. This will help it have a softer, glossier finish.
