Focus on your area of strengths. Getting work done becomes easy when you are in your area of strength and comfort. Project and take up tasks that show forth the areas you are great at. Avoiding distractions and time-wasting projects are certainly ways to get more work done. Distractions are always far from glaring. They slip in subtly and in the form of things we really like. It could be a Netflix break in between tasks or a social media post and you see yourself scrolling through other accounts, deviating entirely from work. Become keener about time management, and attempt to bill yourself per hour. Once you draw a convergent point between your tasks and rewards, it will be easier to see tasks that do not reward you, as activities that take out money from you. The reality is that being a hard worker will not come naturally to you. It is a result of consistency and perseverance built as a character in people, over time. Some people might form the habit easily than others, but putting in efforts to imbibe a culture of great work ethics is what counts. It is through such dedication you will be able to fully utilize your working potentials. Featured Image Source: The Muse
