Airtel’s data bundles have been known to be one of the most cost efficient among young people. They recently revised their data plans to reflect customer’s needs and stay competitive. So, if you are an Airtel subscriber, this is for you.

The best Airtel data packages
1. Voice+ Bundle
The Voice+ plan is a relatively new plan that allows you to maximise your recharge as well as your data package. There is an option that allows the user to get more data or more airtime hence reflecting the users needs accordingly. To get on the plan, dial *154#.
2. SmartCONNECT
This plan offers newly revised data plans and bundles to reflect the increasing need for mobile internet by subscribers. It is the default plan you will access if you are new and if you are a new subscriber, you get double of any data subscription you make. For example, a 350MB weekly data plan will give you 700MB for the same period and for just #300 and 1.5GB monthly data plan will give you 3GB for #1000. The double package is applicable for 90 days from the day of purchase for all packages below #5000.

3. New Data Plans
The telco has recently reviewed its regular data plans and now offers 3GB for as low as #1500 on a monthly basis. In that same light, 8GB and 11GB monthly data are offered at #3000 and #4000 respectively. To get started, dial *141# or *141*1000# (for a #1000 plan for instance).
Airtel also offers 6GB weekly data plan for just #1500 which has been a smash hit with subscribers and which I find convenient because, let’s be honest, monthly data plans don’t last for a month even. So, while we all have our conspiracy theories about how telcos are fleecing us, we should not discount our increased consumption as a valid factor and we can agree on that then the plan can work for you (they sure work for me.
If your budget is a little short and your needs are not that high then, you might consider the SmartTRYBE 2.0 weekly data plan that allows you to purchase 1GB weekly for just #500 and nightly (actually more like very early morning) plan of 250GB for #25.
