  Google is inviting applications from women founders in Africa. If you are female and have launched and currently run a startup that’s tackling one of the continent’s major challenges, here’s an opportunity for you to receive the technical support you need to rapidly scale your business.

The Google for Startups Accelerator Women Founders program will enable women founders to deal with some of the challenges they face while building their startups—including creating products, hiring talent, and fundraising. They will also get the chance to network with Google’s global community of women founders and have access to its best startup development resources, and expert-led mentorship.

Benefits

Founders that Google selects to take part in this program will benefit from it in the following ways:
  • Get equity-free support for three months
  • Gain access to Google’s network of experts
  • Get training in leadership, design, and marketing
  • Receive mentorship from more than 20 Google teams
  • Be granted early access to Google’s latest tools and products
  • Receive Google product credits

Eligibility

Persons who want to apply for this program should meet the following criteria:
  • Must be a woman who has founded and currently runs a startup at the Series A stage or below
  • Their startup should either currently be leveraging machine learning or intend to do so in future
