Gmail: New Search Features for Trial

Gmail is testing a service that lets you search your calender, to see what events you have — around a particular time. This will come from your email search bar, to ease the long walk to your calender by month and day before you know your schedule and appointments.

It comes with several new features that Google is providing in its experimental Gmail trial. There is the enhanced flight tracking feature, to find out the status of your upcoming flights and information about the journey.

The feature also includes email results relevant to your search, enhanced search from your Google Drive, and some more personalized features. These new features and what they cater to will further buoy Gmail as a top email service globally, even as competition, in Outlook and Yahoo, re-brands in appealing ways.
