Glo data plans currently offer the largest data volumes at the cheapest rate available as far as Nigeria is concerned. With N2500, one could get up to 12.5GB of data for a month, which is more than 2X what other telcos are offering. However, there has been some revision to the Glo data plans for 2018. Glo has come up with an updated list of its data offerings for the new year. For some reason, the data volumes have been reduced by some percentage, but still goes basically at the same price. Nonetheless, the plans are still far bigger than what other Network Providers are offering. So, here’s a rundown of the Glo data plans for 2018. Glo #UnfairAdvantage Data Plans For 2018 ₦500 for 1GB valid for 14 days. SMS 57 to 127 or dial *127*57# to subscribe. ₦1,000 for 2GB valid for 30 days. SMS 53 to 127 or dial *127*53# to subscribe. ₦2,000 for 4.5GB valid for 30 days. SMS 55 to 127 or dial *127*55# to subscribe. ₦2,500 for 7.2GB valid for 30 days. SMS 58 to 127 or dial *127*58# to subscribe. ₦3,000 for 8.75GB valid for 30 days. SMS 54 to 127 or dial *127*54# to subscribe. ₦4,000 for 12.5GB valid for 30 days. SMS 59 to 127 or dial *127*59# to subscribe. ₦5,000 for 15.6GB valid for 30 days. SMS 11 to 127 or dial *127*2# to subscribe. ₦8,000 for 25GB valid for 30 days. SMS 12 to 127 or dial *127*1# to subscribe. ₦10,000 for 32.5GB valid for 30 days. SMS 15 to 127 or dial *127*11# to subscribe. The new plans seem to be 2 – 5GB lesser than the previous ones. According to Glo, the older bigger plans were giveaways by supporting brands to commemorate the festive season and well appreciate Glo subscribers. It seems most people got used to the old plans as they seem to be a lot of backlash on Glo for reducing the data volumes seeing that they’ve not done so much to improve their network condition. Glo night plans still retain the same volume and pricing from last year. TGIF N500 Weekend plan costs N500 and offers 3GB of data valid for 7 days from 12 am on Saturday till Sunday 11:59 pm, then weekdays from 12 am to 5 am. SMS 61 to 127 or dial *127*61# to activate. N200 Night Plan costs N200 for 1GB and is valid for 1 day (12 am – 5 am). SMS 60  to 127 or dial *127*60# to activate. * All subscribers still get free YouTube streaming from 1 am – 5:30 am, when they subscribe to any data bundle from N500 and above. Users that subscribe to plans ranging from N2000 and above will also get unlimited access to the Iflix movie streaming service. * Dial *127*0# to check your data bundle balance. * Be sure to renew your data when it expires, in order to keep getting the full data bonuses that accrue to you.
