Ghana’s Computer Maker, RLG, has said it will build a $10 million computer and mobile phone assembling and repairs plant under a partnership between it and the Osun government. The company says when completed, the plant will be one of the biggest in the region, assembling 5,000 phones and 2,000 computers daily. The company says it has been delivering ICT training to youths in Osun State. The Group Chairman and CEO, Ronald Agambire recently visited Nigeria, in company of Corporate Affairs Manager of RLG Communications Group Ghana, Emmanuel Arthur, to hold a management meeting with the Nigerian team, including the country manager, Tosin Ilesanmi. Agambire said, “We have projected that some 1,000 direct and permanent jobs will be created when the plant shapes up fully. He also “promised huge investment towards Research and Development to improve on product quality and service delivery.”
