FXTM Team with the prize winners
In the bid to improve understanding of forex trading and reporting of the money market in Nigeria, global broker Forex Time Ltd (FXTM) recently organised a one-day training workshop and forex demo competition for journalists in Lagos.
FXTM, a financial services firm that provides Nigerian traders with world-class trading software, education and customer services, said the training was imperative so as to improve the general awareness and knowledge capacity of the global money market which can be achieved through good financial reporting.

The company explained that the forex demo contest, which was held at its Lagos office, would empower journalists with adequate knowledge to improve their reporting and also enable them explore additional sources of income.
Three journalists who finished with the best performance at the end of the demo trading contest were awarded prizes in the first, second and third place categories.
Obinna Chima of THISDAY newspaper had the best performance finishing first place, Odinaka Mbonu of Business Day newspaper won the second prize, while Kunle Binuyo, ConnectNigeria.com finished in third place.
The demo contest enables learners to develop the necessary knowledge on how to use the trading platform before getting into the real business of forex trading.
