As this week progresses, universities would have access to free WiFi known as Surfwella. This free WiFi Facility would be made available to the country’s higher educational learning. The Chief Marketing Officer of Surfwella, Olusola Bankole, earmarked this as the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative. He stated on Sunday, that the firm would make available the free WiFi in all university campuses in the country. The University of Abuja would be the first beneficiary. Next is Lagos State University, College of Agric, Lafiaji and University of Lagos. This facility would include free data, no subscription, just free internet service in the most usable form on WiFi. The organization would, however, continue to develop their features on the Internet while in service. Mr Bankole believes that the surest way towards entrepreneurship is through acquiring Information and Communication Technology skills. The whole idea of this project is to guarantee that future graduates from universities across the country will compete favourably with their colleagues from other nations of the globe.
