Buzzing all over the social media networks is the surprising news that the popular lead actress in the award winning TV show Scandal, just got married to a Nigerian footballer, Nnamdi Asomugha, whom she started dating last year. Well, she didn’t just marry him, but we all just got to hear about it, as E! News exclusively announced tonight. How did such a high profile couple manage to keep their marriage a secret? Nnamdi Asomugha is a 31-year-old three-time Pro Bowl star, who played with the Oakland Raiders after his graduation from UC Berkeley in 2003 for eight seasons, and the Philadelphia Eagles for two, before signing with the 49ers in April. The bookish athlete is no stranger to showbiz, either, having scored acting gigs on The Game, Friday Night Lights and Leverage in recent years. And then he goes on to marry Django mega star Kerry Washington. Nnamdi, we’re proud of you for being such a high achiever!
