The Federal Government of Nigeria is working hard and seriously towards trade and investment in the country. There have been more Bi-National Commission of recent, and Bi-lateral trade between Nigeria and several economies have grown. In line with this, a business forum, involving business leaders and public officers from Europe and Nigeria will hold in Lagos. The forum will hold between October 23 and 24, with the full support of the foreign offices of EU countries here. The forum was held in Abuja last year and according to a German delegate for industry and commerce in Nigeria, Mr. Andre Ranne, who said: “We have been in constant contact and exchange with most of the European trade associations and consulates in Nigeria, and have realized that we all have the same believe about succeeding in our various businesses.” “While using this window of opportunity for Nigerian and European businesses in Nigeria to create mid and long term partnership, the forum will also serve as a lobbying platform for European companies and their representatives,” he said. According to him, Lagos was chosen as the centre for the event because it is the hub of business activities in the country.”
