CAREERSHIFT is a Career and Life Enhancement intervention which has, in the past, held in Lagos, Abuja, London, Philadelphia and Maryland, USA. Several working professionals and entrepreneurs have benefited immensely from past editions of the program where proficient speakers have been hosted. As a 1-day event, this edition of CAREERSHIFT is specifically targeted to address the impending job loss in Nigeria and help working professionals explore emerging opportunities. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, 18.4% decline in the formal sector is counting steady drop in employment generation since Q3, 2014 and this trend is expected to continue in Q4 as businesses announce more restructuring of their staff; while the festive season in Q4 encourages more informal sector activity in the presence of strong growth in the work force. A key observation by Jimi Tewe and Fela Durotoye, which triggered the decision to host this event, is the fast rising indications that many more jobs will be cut as companies try to adjust to the economic changes driven by Government’s drive to curb corruption, reduce foreign spending & switch from an oil-based economy to a diversified one. There will also be a panel session which will feature people who have track records of successful shift in their careers and have stories to tell to inspire and motivate the participants. Participants will be more enlightened on; • The stable and emerging industries in Nigeria & how to transit into them • How to assess if your job is at risk & what steps you need to take • How to get positioned to be hired by foreign companies coming into Nigeria in 2016 • How to move from work you endure to work you will enjoy • How to even earn more from the work you do & creating other streams, etc This event is scheduled to hold as seen below: Date: Sunday, December 13th 2015 Time: 2pm Venue: The D87 Event Centre, Babs Animashaun, Surulere, Lagos Ticket: 5,000 (The first 75 people who register will get a copy of Jimi Tewe’s book, Free From Corporate Slavery and also get access to a closed TeleSeminar focused on Achieving Career Success) To register, please visit http://naijaticketshop.com/details.php?id=1586 For more info, please call 07043333041 or send a mail to info@inspirosolutions.com www.inspirosolutions.com
