Banana and peanut are some of the enviable marriages in food history. Even though either one of them can be enjoyed alone, we just love to eat them together. Who can blame us? They are as natural as it comes, perfectly healthy and downright irresistible.

Today’s milkshake features this popular snack combination. As expected, this drink is pure bliss. It’s filling; it’s creamy. It is loved by adults and children alike. What’s more,  it can be made in a twinkle of an eye with minimal ingredients. In making this banana peanut butter milkshake,  I used regular milk but any kind of milk can be used. So, feel free to use the one that meets your taste or dietary requirements. Also, yoghurt was used in place of ice cream and even though the milkshake was sweetened with sugar, honey or date syrup can be used. Lest I forget,  a smooth peanut (groundnut) butter will make this milkshake texturally wonderful.

2 Bananas 2 Cups of Milk 1/4 Cup of Plain Yoghurt 1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter Sugar to Taste

Method of Preparation

Peel the bananas and slice them into one-inch circles. Spread the sliced bananas on a wide plate and freeze. Take the frozen bananas out of the freezer and pour it into a clean blender jug. Measure out the remaining ingredients on the list and pour them and some ice cubes into a blender. Blend until smooth then serve and enjoy. Featured Image Source: Food Network
