Nigerian singer and producer Chukwuka Ekweani popularly known by the stage name Ckay has made history after his hit track ‘Love Nwantiti’ was certified diamond in France. The feat means Ckay is the first Nigerian act to hit diamond status in France after the song sold over 333,000 units.
Love Nwantiti became a global hit in 2021 and has not stopped bagging certifications and hitting records across the globe. The song currently has over one billion streams on Spotify and has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube.
Another single from Ckay titled ‘Emiliana’ was recently certified platinum status in France by the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP). The Warner Music star has continued to thrill fans and has promised that his forthcoming album will smash records as he continues to establish a presence in France and other parts of Europe alongside the entire globe.
