With the intention of reinstating optimism to the Nigerian woman and the country as a whole, BusinessDay presents the third edition of Inspiring Woman Series, an event that was birthed in July 2010 and has since become a programme that the discerning Nigerian woman always looks forward to.

The annual event is an offshoot of the enlightening page called INSPIRING WOMAN in BusinessDay, where various women who have inspired Nigeria positively and have played major roles in the process of national renaissance and women development have been featured.

Speakers who have graced the occasion since inception include Hannah Tetteh, Minister of Trade & Industry, Ghana; Funke Osibodu, Managing Director / CEO, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc; First Lady of Lagos State, Abimbola Fashola; First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi; The UNICEF ambassador; Yvonne Chaka Chaka; and Ibukun Awosika, Managing Director Sokoa Chair Centre, to mention a few.

This year will indeed be exciting as it promises participants insight on financial responsibility, personal branding, customer service and personal success.

The Keynote Speaker is Zoe Molapisi, Co-creative Executive Producer for the Parable Leadership Awards and CEO/Founder of By Design Africa, a full service event design, management, and production agency. A charismatic speaker, remarkable serial entrepreneur who is passionate about building and strengthening relationships, Molapisi has been a self-financed business leader for many years. She gained success in Corporate South Africa, managing budgets exceeding $25m. Zoe founded By Design Africa in 2003 with the help of just one employee.
