Burgers, hot dogs and generally red meat can be very dangerous to your health. Studies have been shown that beef eaters have shorter life spans. Study has also shown that the higher your consumption of beef, the higher your chances are of dying from cancer, heart problems, stroke or even diabetes.
Beef is high in protein, true, but it is also high in saturated fat and cholesterol which can cause cancer and heart problems.
According to the research, each additional serving of red meat per day, such as beef, hot dogs, bacon, and burgers increased the chances of dying by 13%. Fortunately, substituting a daily serving of red meat with poultry, fish or nuts reduced the risk of dying by 7%.
