Arthouse Foundation, a non-profit initiative of Arthouse Contemporary, has announced a call for applications for its Artist Residency Programme 2018. The organization runs with the objective of encouraging the creative development of contemporary art in Nigeria.
Local and international visual artists working in all mediums and who wish to engage a new artistic project in Lagos, Nigeria are invited to apply. During the course of the programme, the foundation would provide artists with a live/work studio, monthly living stipend and production allowance, participation in public programmes and an exhibition.
The three-month residency programme is scheduled into three sessions: the Winter Session from January 15 to April 8, the Spring Session from April 23 to July 22, and the Fall Session from September 10 to December 8, 2018. Two artists will be chosen for each session.
