The Founder Institute is the world’s largest pre-seed accelerator. It’s based in Silicon Valley and has chapters in over 220 cities across the world. The Founder Institute Lagos is one of these chapters. Working in the same vein as its global peers, it currently supports entrepreneurs who are building tech-driven businesses in Lagos. Through its cohort sessions, it trains early-stage founders to build viable businesses, grants them access to mentors and introduces them to a Founder Institute’s global network of alumni, investors, and chief executives spread over several dozen countries. The Founder Institute Lagos Cohort IV fellowship is the latest of these programs and offers entrepreneurs in Nigeria the chance to enjoy the above stated benefits. This 14-week program will enable participants to build their solutions from the idea stage to minimum viable product. The program will be held virtually, starting in February 2021. This session has a course fee of $499. Early registrants will pay a lower fee of $399 in an early bird offer that ends on Sunday, January 17.

The collaboration between Connect Nigeria and Founder Institute will see a member of the Connect Nigeria community get sponsored to participate in the fellowship. Speaking about the program, Ifedy Eze, the Lead Director of Founder Institute Lagos, said that it was an opportunity to raise the bar on entrepreneurship in Africa.
