Ubuy was launched in December 2019 to better connect local professionals to customers in need of their services across Nigeria. The app is focused on making the process of finding local professionals easier and much faster while enabling local professionals to expand their customer base.

According to the Chief Executive Officer, Jeremiah Ajilore,

Ubuy Nigeria was founded to reduce the rate of unemployment in the country by helping the youths get paid in exchange for services rendered and also to help Nigerians complete their daily tasks through a straight-forward and seamless process.

Meet The App

The Ubuy app has a user-friendly interface and is quite easy to navigate. In order to sign-up on the app, customers and pros both have to go through a verification process to ensure the safety of users. Once they’ve been verified, both parties can then set up their accounts and start using the app.

Customers can start by searching for local professionals within their vicinity, posting their tasks/projects, viewing the profiles of potential pros and entering their transaction details for future references. Customers, on the other hand, get to bid for tasks/projects. At the completion of a task, customers are required to rate the performance of the pros in order to give them more visibility and improve their credibility on the platform.
