The record label, also known as the Supreme Mavin Dynasty was founded by ace producer Don Jazzy on 8th May 2012 after the dissolution of Mo’hits founded by himself and Dbanj. The label which is a revamped Mo’hits had Tiwa Savage as its first new signee, and went on to sign , Korede Bello, Dr SID, D’Prince, Di’Ja, Reekado Banks, Johnny Drille, Poe, and DNA, with Aluko ‘Altims’ Timothy and Sunday ‘BabyFresh’ Enejere as producers. Wande Coal who was with the label at inception left a year after it took off, and “Kurukere” singer Inyanya who was also signed to the label in 2016 left in 2017. The label celebrated its 1million followers reach on Instagram in 2016 making it the record label with the most followers, 20 times the followers of Sony Music, one of the world’s biggest labels. It now has 1.5million followers The label has produced such monster hits like “Godwin” “Dorobucci” “All over” “Malo” “Romantic” and more with a long list of awards and recognition.
