Hair contributes to the overall beauty of an individual, and this is the main reason why most ladies do not joke with their hair. The health of your hair depends on different factors including heredity, diet, general health condition, weather and others. Most ladies want gorgeous, healthy and perfect hair, but this cannot be achieved by mere wishful thinking. Like any good thing in life, it requires effort and consistency. Here are some tips to help you in getting and maintaining beautiful hair:
- Keep it clean: The first way to ensure that your hair is in good condition is to wash it. This way, you get to see the real colour of the hair and remove dirt and germs from it as well. After washing, you can then check if there is anything wrong with your hair and then proceed to fix it.
- Apply fewer chemicals: Most hair products out there promise you a lot of things that are too good to be true. Instead of applying loads of chemicals to your hair, allow it breathe and use home remedies that do not cost much money. To condition your hair, apply half a cup of olive oil onto it and allow it to sit for about 45 minutes then wash with water.
- Eat and drink: It might sound useless or unimportant, but eating foods and fruits that are rich in vitamins A, C and E help to keep the hair healthy and shiny. Drinking lots of water also helps in maintaining the general health condition of the hair.
- Avoid tight styles: We all know that there are some types of hairstyles cause you to lose hair especially if they are too tight, but we still do them anyway because they look good. Avoid styles that are woven too tightly or the ones that pull the hair so much in order to keep your hair full and long.
- Watch your combs: Just as people are unique, hair also comes in different types. This is why it is absolutely important to carefully choose and select the perfect comb or brush for your hair. When shopping for combs, you might want to get a wide-toothed one that will ease through your hair painlessly. For brushes, get the ones that have round bristles that are firm but still gentle enough for your hair.
