essay   3 Nigerian University students were today presented a cash prize of ten thousand Naira each by the Oyo State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency, in Ibadan. The students, Adekunle Adebajo, a Law Student of the University of Ibadan, Mr. Afeez Irekeola, a computer Engineering student of LAUTECH Ogbomoso and Mr. Amamanbu Amobichukwu of Geography Department of the University of Ibadan are state winners in the 2nd National Essay Competition titled “MY NIGERIA, WHAT IT MEANS TO ME”, an annual event organised by the national headquarters of the agency. Presenting the prizes to the students, the State Director of the National Orientation Agency, Oyo State Directorate, Mr. Remi Omowon, commended the three students and reiterated that the aim of the essay was to enable youths share their passion and perspectives with the rest of the world. The State Director further advised youths to make good use of opportunities such as quizzes, debates and other educational and informative channels to build themselves, Oyo State and the nation as a whole. In response to this, Mr. Adebajo on behalf of the winners appreciated the National Orientation Agency for the opportunity given to them to channel their talent towards a productive course for Nigeria and promised to be patriotic and readily available for other opportunities. Present at the ceremony were the members of the Management Team of NOA, Assistant Director (Operations) Mr. Yekini Asiru, Assistant Director (Program), Mr. Moshood Olaleye, and the Chief Accountant, Mr. Sikiru Oyeniran.
