The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the forthcoming launch of its digital certificate platform on the 20th of October.
The Council made this known in a tweet on Friday.
According to the flier information, those who sat for the exam from 1999 till date will be eligible to easily access their certificates.
Given that the world is rapidly becoming a global village, the Council has reviewed their model to help candidates easily access, share and confirm their WAEC certificates.
WAEC also clarified that even those that have misplaced their certificates or don’t have them readily available can always retrieve them. The tweet reads:
“We’ve got something big coming. The WAEC digital certificate platform is launching on the 20th of Oct., 2022. Visit waec.org.”
This spells good news for all candidates, especially those who have lost their certificates.
Several reactions came with the tweet, as people expressed their satisfaction with the initiative and urged for the process’s sustainability.
