Ex-Super Eagles International and Chelsea midfielder, Victor Moses, has only made five appearances for the English outfit in all competitions this season.

The player’s quandary began after team manager, Maurizio Sarri, took over running of The Blues, and deemed the Nigerian unfit to be part of his 11-man dream squad.

Only last season, Moses was a critical part of Chelsea’s formidable squad that won the 2017/2018 Emirates FA Cup.

Today the Nigerian is a regular on Sarri’s bench at Stamford Bridge, having made just two English topflight appearances so far this campaign.

In other to save face and of course his career, Moses must leave Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window regardless of his extended 2021 contract deal with the outfit.

English Premier League side, Cardiff City, has joined the race to sign Moses this month. Threatened by looming relegation, Cardiff Manager, Neil Warnock, believes the Chelsea wing back will make a great addition to his team and potentially help them escape relegation.

Crystal Palace were believed to have been the favorites to snatch the Nigerian from Stamford Bridge outright for a deal worth £12m. However, a failed loan deal for Nathaniel Clyne has directed a desperate Cardiff side to Chelsea for the Nigerian.

If Cardiff are successful in the bid, Moses will be on the books for the Bluebirds temporarily until the end of the season.
