Victor Moses

Super Eagles top gun, Victor Moses, was in a action for Chelsea in their 1-3 home loss to Tottenham in Sunday’s premier league fixture at Stamford Bridge. After thirty minutes without a goal from both teams, Moses was in position to send a timely pass to Alvaro Morata who swiftly netted the ball to give the Blues the lead. However, Chelsea’s lead was short-lived about fifteen minutes later into the game when Christian Eriksen  duly converted an assist from Ben Davies and leveled the scores for Tottenham in the first minute of the first half’s stoppage time. Two minutes after the hour mark, the Spurs took the lead via a goal from Dele Alli, who later scored a brace four minutes later to put the match points far beyond Chelsea’s reach. The loss ended Chelsea’s 27-game unbeaten home run.

Kayode Olanrewaju

Nigerian forward, Kayode Olanrewaju, was in action on debut for Shakhtar Donetsk as they breezed past Zorya 3-0 in a Ukrainian Premier League fixture on Sunday. After a rather lackluster run with Spanish side Girona FC, Kayode was sent on loan to Shaktar in March and he definitely made an impression with his last minute goal; his first for the Ukrainian side. Shakhtar scored the opener via Taison in 41 minutes. The home team managed to hold off any more assaults till the second half. In the 61st minute, Facundo Ferreyra put Shakhtar two goals up with a stunner from a Bohdan Bukto assist.
