Have you ever wanted to get mass opinions on an important issue? Twitter users will soon be able to create simple multiple-choice polls on the popular platform, after the organisation’s public announcement on the development this Wednesday. The feature will be available for use on mobile and web devices in a few days. According to the organisation’s official blog:
If you want the public’s opinion on anything — what to name your dog, who will win tonight’s game, which election issue people care most about — there’s no better place to get answers than on Twitter. For poll creators, it’s a new way to engage with Twitter’s massive audience and understand exactly what people think. For those participating, it’s a very easy way to make your voice heard.
Prior to this development, users interested in polling could tweet their questions and track replies, tally hashtag votes, or ask followers to favorite or retweet to vote. The new feature is expected to make the process more convenient. What are your thoughts on this new feature? Let us know in the comments section below.   SourceTwitter
