Founded by Samson Abioye, Pass.ng was created to serve the thousands of students sitting for several national examinations every year. The website is a web, desktop and mobile-based Computer Based Testing online platform designed to help students prepare for a host of national exams including ICAN, JAMB, WAEC, School of Nursing, and some others from the comfort of their own homes. With pass.ng, students now have a higher chance of acing all their national exams more than ever before.
Passnownow
Founded by Toyoda Akerele-Ogunsiji, Passnownow is leveling the playing field between teachers and students by creating a conducive learning environment through the digitalization of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum. On Passnownow.com, students have access to comprehensive notes created by teachers and educational experts. These notes span all conventional secondary school classes which range from JSS 1 to SSS 3 according to curriculum and based on the syllabus. With this learning system in place, Passnownow is helping students learn at their own pace and cover the stipulated syllabus.
Scholarx
Scholarx is helping students reach their educational goals by providing them with scholarships, crowdfunding, and E-Learning.
The platform achieves this by providing students with information about scholarship opportunities. It also runs a platform called Village, which serves as a crowdfunding service for students’ school fees.
Re:learn
Re:learn is simply a hub focused on tackling the challenges in the education sector. The program which is run by Co-creation Hub (CcHub) equips students and EdTech start-ups with top-notch skills necessary for creating new ways to help students learn better. The skills taught on Re:learn are a combination of both soft and technical ones aimed at “dotting i’s and crossing the t’s” when it comes to problem-solving and critical thinking.
Booklify
Booklify is the online version of a physical book club. The platform was set up to encourage a reading culture among Nigerians. Users on the platform can access different categories of books and actively engage in conversations about these books. Publishers, on the other hand, have the license to promote their work and track sales on the dashboard. The founder and CEO of Booklify, NathanielOkwoli,believes that the reading culture in Nigeria is still very much alive but it needs technological intervention for it to be rejuvenated and this is where Booklify comes in.
