Although they go interchangeably, your goal could be to either achieve brand awareness, lead generation or massive sales. Nonetheless, you must define exactly what your core goals are and your strategic action plan to achieve these goals. Knowing this will help you map out the entire trade show.

There are a number of trade shows and fairs available in Nigeria. These fairs give businesses the opportunity to come to exhibit their products and show what they have to offer. It is important that you choose a niche-specific trade show.

  • Draw a budget

Depending on the size of your brand and your exhibition, you need staff members that are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to the needs of prospects. They are essentially the face of your exhibition. They should be properly educated on the goals and objectives of the trade show, and be informed on what to do to drive the results. They should also be able to take up a positive initiative to achieve those goals. 

  • Be engaging 

At a trade show or trade fair, there are numerous companies that are also there to make exhibitions. Many of them will be your competitors. Why will prospects be attracted to your stand? You need to put in measures to capture and retain their interest.
