Method

Rinse a pot. Place it on medium heat to dry. When it does, pour the vegetable oil into the pot and wait for it to heat up then inspect the hotness of the oil with two or three kernels. If they pop, then, you are good to go. Add the remaining popcorn to the pot quickly. Cover the pot and shake it to ensure an even spread. You’ll hear the sound of the corns popping. Shake the pot from time to time, this will prevent the corns from burning and when the popping sound stops, take the pot off the heat. Transfer the popcorn to a plate. Sprinkle sugar (or salt if you prefer) and milk on it. Toss then allow the popcorn to cool before you serve. Popcorn can be enjoyed alone. It can also be enjoyed with roasted groundnut.
