  RIoT has announced that its accelerator program is now open to startups from across the globe. The RIoT Accelerator Program (RAP) delivers and strengthens business development resources to startups accepted into it by connecting them with a network of several dozen companies along the IoT technology stack. Beneficiaries will get to learn from industry leaders and collaborate with them to bring their solutions to market.

The RIoT Accelerator Program supports a range of business processes, including research commercialization, startup growth, corporate innovation projects, and more. While there is an emphasis on startups that are directly involved in IoT, ventures that aren’t as closely connected (from any industry) are invited to apply for this opportunity.

Benefits

This program will benefit startups selected to take part in it in the following ways:
  • Connect with and engage industry partners and customers
  • Utilize engineering prototyping lab and tools
  • Gain access to an IoT ecosystem comprising government, academia, and industry collaborators
  • Learn innovative ways to leverage the data economy

Eligibility

The RIoT Accelerator Program is industry-agnostic and open to startups from across the world. However, they will need to meet these conditions:
  • Be (and apply as) an early-stage startup, corporate team, or a new team formed around an industry-driven project
  • Demonstrate strong market demand for its solution
  • Show evidence of early validation and traction
  • Teams should have at least 1 member (preferably 2 members) who is working on the startup or project full-time
  • Be available to participate in the accelerator program, which will take place in North Carolina, USA, and run for 3 months
