If you’re a Smartphone lover, specifically you’re obsessed with ‘Apple’ product, get in here because this post is exactly for you. It’s official, in celebration of Apple’s 10th anniversary the ‘iPhone X’ (also said to be the iPhone 10) has been announced. This time it comes with an epic massive screen with an improved design, well.. as expected. Hoping to get one, then, here are basic details you need to know about this beauty while you wait to purchase.
  • If you thought you had a mini heart attack every time your phone fell to the floor in the past, you’ve not seen anything yet. The new iPhone x is a 5.8-inch phone sporting a super retina display made entirely of glass. Although, Apple promises that the all-glass feature is the most ‘durable glass’ ever used in smartphones. It’s still safe to be careful if you know what I mean.
  • It supports wireless charging and has a longer battery life. You won’t always have worry about your phone dying (this is good since it eliminates the carrying of charger everywhere). The iPhone X arrives with support for the Qi charging standard and iPhone users will be able to use third-party charging accessories. Rumour has it that Apple may release its own Airpower wireless charging in the future.
  • The new iPhone X comes in two (2) colours in silver and space grey colours (lovely colours by the way)
  • Oh yes, lest I forget the iPhone X does not feature a home button or touch ID. Apple instead, introduced a cool new feature, all you have to do is go to the home button and swipe up. In addition, the phone will have to scan with face recognition to enable access to your device. This works with a bunch of sensors on the front phone in such way that every time you look at your phone, the phone projects 30,000 invisible IR dots, which quickly scans your face and allows you into your device.
  • As if that’s not enough, Apple has elevated the emoji’s to ‘Animojis’. To bring your messages to life and to truly capture a feeling all you have to do is; go to the library on your phone, get a photo of yourself or take a selfie, and there you have it.
  • The iPhone X will be available for pre-order on October 27 and will start shipping on November 3.
