  Nestle Nigeria is inviting students who hail from its host communities in Ogun State and the FCT to apply for its community scholarships. The scholarships are designed for students in SS1 at specified secondary schools and first-year students at designated universities.

Students who are selected to benefit from this scheme will get financial support covering tuition, accommodation, books, uniforms, and other expenses related to their academic needs. These will be catered for as long as the student’s academic journeys last in the institutions in which they are currently enrolled. Nestle says that this program is in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4, which is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all by 2030.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet these conditions:
  • For the Nestle Nigeria University Scholarship
  • Be a 100-level student in an accredited university or polytechnic
  • Must have obtained at least 5 O’ Level credits in WAEC or NECO SSCE in Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology and at least 200 in UTME
  • For the Nestle Nigeria Senior Secondary Qualification
  • Awards for SS1 students in science and technical classes in the following schools: Remo Secondary School, Sagamu; Owode High School, Owode; Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu; Remo Division High School, Sagamu; Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu
  • Obtained at least 5 credits in BECE (JSS3) in specific subjects, including Mathematics, English, and Basic Science
