  The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) is partnering with Ingryd, a tech training academy, to offer an opportunity for mid-stage technology talent to get vital training. The Ingryd Scholarship Program (ISP), as it is called, will provide selected applicants with a chance to learn in-demand tech skills for free.

Courses offered in this program are Linux, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Java. Persons who are looking to benefit from this program can sign up, and then take an assessment test. If they have a score of at least 65%, they will get the chance to secure a coupon code for a scholarship covering their training.

Benefits

This scholarship covers the cost of training, including learning Linux, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Java. They will also be offered job placements after the program.

Eligibility

The LSETF Ingryd Scholarship Program is open to persons who meet these criteria:
  • Be between 22 and 40 years old
  • Have at least 2 years prior experience in their preferred training track
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Willing, able, and ready to complete 3 to 6 months of training
  • Have reliable access to the internet, and attend virtual and physical classes
