  The International Youth Foundation (IYF) and LEAP Africa are implementing the Youth Enterprise Fund program for 2024. The IYF says that this program aims to identify and support change-making social enterprises led by young innovators. If you meet these criteria and your work is aligned with achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), you should consider applying for this opportunity.

This program is funded by the Conrad N Hilton Foundation, and jointly executed by the IYF and LEAP Africa. It will be enabling its awardees to scale their solutions and interventions, to boost their social impact and drive positive change in Nigeria.

Benefits

The International Youth Foundation and LEAP Africa Youth Enterprise Fund will benefit social entrepreneurs in the following ways:
  • Helps social enterprises access flexible funding to scale their innovative solutions and operations
  • Provide other forms of support that will enable social ventures to improve their effectiveness
  • Increase their visibility through the publicity provided by LEAP Africa and its partners

Eligibility

This program is open to social ventures that meet the following criteria:
  • Run by young social entrepreneurs
  • Early to mid-stage social venture operating in Nigeria
  • Alumnus of LEAP Africa’s Social Innovators Program
