  Applications are ongoing for the 2024 Digital Africa Talent 4 Startups Program. Initiated by Digital Africa, an organization that supports digital startups on the continent, Talent 4 Startups offers training to young people looking to start a tech career, and then gives them access to employment opportunities. It doubles as a platform from which tech startups across Africa will recruit high-quality talent who have been trained in specific skill areas.

Persons who take part in this program will do so through scholarships deployed by Digital Africa’s partner training schools. They will learn various technical skills and acquire human and operational resource management capabilities. The technical skills training will be in the following areas:
  • Coding skills
  • Data cleansing, preparation, analysis, and exploitation
  • Database management
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • Marketing campaign and content management
  • Project and product tech management

Skills in operational and human resources will be in these areas:
  • Communication
  • Content creation
  • Critical thinking
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Problem-solving

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Ready to commit to intensive training for between 2 and 9 months
  • I am looking for a job in tech, specifically at a startup
