  Baker Hughes, the world’s leading provider of integrated oil field products, is inviting suitably qualified Nigerians to apply for a place in its field engineering internship program. They are particularly interested in hearing from students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a STEM-related field (preferably Engineering or Mechanics), or anyone who has recently graduated with any of these degrees.

Persons who are selected to intern with Baker Hughes will be trained, attend team meetings, work on projects, and present their results. They will learn on the job, and be acquainted with Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E), and the work culture that exists at Baker Hughes. Their time at the company will enable them to learn to work in an organization that values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet these conditions:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or some other related STEM field, or recently graduated with a degree in one of these disciplines
  • Should have a GPA of 3.0 or more on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent
  • Must be able to speak fluently and write well in English
  • Be able to relocate for the internship
