This scholarship will cover the cost of acquiring programming skills and a decent knowledge of engineering principles. It will also open up career opportunities for participants, enabling them to land jobs with companies that want smart problem solvers to join their teams.

Benefits

Persons who receive the ALX/MasterCard Foundation Scholarship will benefit from it in the following ways:
  • Learn to solve problems with code and other technologies
  • Gain skills that will enable them to design systems and come up with project performance requirements, capabilities and limitations
  • Learn to calculate, plan and recommend computer specifications, layout and peripheral equipment modifications

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to persons who meet these conditions:
  • Should be of African origin
  • Be aged between 18 and 34 years old
  • Must be able to attend in-person requirements in Lagos
