  Access Bank and Art X are collaborating to offer valuable rewards to some of the best-emerging artists on the African and Diaspora scene. This prize has been instituted in order to shine a spotlight on the steadily evolving art space, and allow the public a peep into the present and future of Africa’s creative talent.

The organizers of this contest, Access Bank and Art X, say that they are hoping to set beneficiaries of the prize up for a successful career in the arts. The jurors, who will be evaluating the entries received by Art X, include well-known artists from within Nigeria and the broader African continent.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this prize, entrants must meet these conditions:
  • Should be a Nigerian or African resident in Nigeria or the diaspora
  • Must have been an active artist for at least 3 years
  • Submit an Artist Bio, Portfolio, and Motivation Letter
