  The Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) has announced that it will be hosting the fourth edition of its Real Estate Marketplace Conference this December. The annual event is slated to be held on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th of the month, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

This year’s edition of the Lagos State Real Estate Marketplace Conference has the theme, Real Estate Regulation: A Panacea for Disaster Mitigation and Recovery in the Built Industry. In line with this, formal discussions at the various sessions of the event will revolve around ensuring greater adherence to existing regulations to prevent and tackle disastrous occurrences within the Lagos real estate industry. Participants at the event will include players from across the real estate value chain. Investors and representatives of interests in Tourism, Financial Institutions, Real Estate Development, Construction, Interior Decoration, PropTech, Real Estate Professional Bodies, and Government Agencies, among others, will grace the marketplace.

The two-day event will consist of panel sessions with speakers and discussants drawn from across the private and public sectors of the real estate space. They will be deliberating on matters arising and perennial issues within the industry. Businesses within and adjacent to the real estate industry will also be exhibiting their products and services at the event. The Lagos State Real Estate Marketplace Conference will provide private sector concerns with an opportunity to engage representatives of the government—specifically regulators –and iron out pressing issues that are commonplace in the Lagos real estate scene.
