After the humbling of the brave warriors of Namibia at Calabar, the Super Eagles have arrived in Malawi attempting to make it two wins out of two. The Nigerian Football team will face the Malawian Team tomorrow to make sure their win comes to pass
Stephen Keshi (Super Eagles coach), will be hoping that his boys replicate their match against Namibia but with more goals. He will also keep fate with his blend of Home based and foreign based players
Keshi agreed that the team should have scored a basketful of goals against Namibia, last Sunday in Calabar. He stated that the anxiety on the part of players, pressure from the fans and the desperation to correct the mistakes of the past were the reasons it ended in a one goal game.
“The team and particularly the strikers are under tremendous pressure to deliver and that is why they make mistakes in front of goal and in the process it comes out to hunt them. We must be patient with the team and the strikers and very soon the goals will start rolling in aplenty. But are Nigerians ready to be patient? That is the big question.
With the Malawian Flames securing a draw away in Kenya, their confidence is high. The Eagles will have to be on their utmost best in other to douse them.
